P3 In-School Support Visits 1. Remember to collect evidence on the goals and indicators (as described in the questions for new and experienced questionnaires we used for baseline. These are located on the Coaches' Main Page). *However, relationship building comes first, with regards to this evidence gathering. *Multiple support visits are fine; let's share with each other if multiple visits are occurring so that everyone is aware of support given in other regions. 2. Also, develop a method for saving and collecting in one folder (perhaps) email documentation from participants indicating that the support is helpful, especially if they give specific examples as to "how." 3. Be prepared to share what information you have (even if it is only for a portion of the principals) at our December 4 PLEE meeting in Frankfort.
P3 Regional Meetings 1. I will attend the Division meeting in Frankfort on December 14, instead of the regional meeting in western Kentucky, so that all of you can support the work at the regional meeting with those principals and teacher leaders. 2. Thank you for creating the Process Agenda for the regional meetings! It is a well-planned event with opportunities for the participants to engage in coaching and feedback situations, after determining what it 'looks like' to be effective in this area. 3. EILA: I talked with Renee' Scott, yesterday, when I was in Frankfort and I will take care of the applications, tomorrow, for regional and statewide events. 4. Diane and Ali will work on the draft of the evaluation to be used. (Consider creating a google doc/form for easy editing by the team.) We can finalize this at the December 4th meeting in Frankfort. 5. Ali and I discussed some strategies for including those principals who might be indicating that they are 'tentative' in continuing to participate.
Other P3 data points to determine effectiveness of the program: Yesterday, in conversation with Amanda and Kevin, we decided that information about the effectiveness of this program from the point-of-view of the teacher leader would be valuable. Kevin said that he will get the questions that SREB developed to us as soon as possible. Within the next couple of weeks, we will talk about how we will get an initial data point as well as one at the end of the year.
Other Regional Support 1. I will share the EILA credit info for the professional learning support you have provided for SGG support and The Power of Teacher Teams. 2. Continue to support districts within your region; don't cancel site support visits in order to do so. Please try to schedule around the P3 site visits.
July 29 Communication Tool--We will use this google doc to communicate learning needs and information about the retreat, specifically, and will also use this information to plan some of the learning opportunities for our monthly meetings, as well. Please comment on this form at your leisure, instead of connecting on the conference call this week.
