Sample Matrices for Combining State Student Growth Percentiles and Local Student Growth Goals
These matrices may be used to discuss different scenarios for teachers when deciding how to combine state and local growth ratings for one overall rating.  The outcomes in each of the cells demonstrates a "weight" given when making a determination.  It is strongly suggested that districts consider as many scenarios as possible and apply to the given matrices to determine which outcomes promote what the district intends to promote.  Moreover, it should be understood that these samples are not exhaustive choices.  A district may choose to use some other method that does not relate to any of these matrices.
